I thought that only worked if you didn't paint outside the lines.

No, I genuinely did purchase the blue paint with a view to painting the stripe.
I have run out of white though and haven’t finished.

Haha. I WILL tidy up my feck ups.

This was this mornings effort. Some tidy up still to do once I get the white paint. It also needs another coat of white in places.

It is a big difference when walls and ceilings are lighter to reflect the light. Just the foil backing on the insulation boards I put up in the garage ceiling made a big difference, before the light was just being sucked up into the garage loft - let alone the heat!

Popped into Ikea Cardiff today to get my real Christmas Tree from the tree place at the rear, (I get one there every year) so went into the store to see what storage solutions they had. Ended up coming away with these bright orange cupboards, a Bisley style draw cabinet on wheels and a trolley to store my polishes, lubes and such in for when I’m keeping the bike clean.

Due to the difference in the width of a block and a concrete common brick I have a little ledge above the front (back?) window so I decided to cut and reverse the edge of the remaining strong stay brackets I have here. A simple pair of cuts, flip the corner and clamp it along the edge of a square so the corner is still square then a couple of weld runs, dressed and painted before fitting.

After finishing the front shelf.

Started to clean up and it now looks like a useable space.

that looks really nice.... nice to have the window in front of the bench... bit of natural light and can see outside when working at bench... bit less gloomy when you can't really be arsed to fix whatever you're fixing!

Cheers @knighty ,When I purchased the windows I did select obscured glass in both for the security aspect. Not bothered about seeing my house but the extra light is great compared to my other garage. You can’t beat natural light.

Returned the DH but my son had one that I borrowed. Only a small Delonghi Dec12 but it is still pulling water out at a fair rate. This was after 4 hours.

Also painted the one remaining wall and touched in a few places I’d dabbed. You can see the borrowed DH in the pic.

Today’s work. I really need to leave wet paint alone until it’s dried to touch in. My white wall was becoming steadily light blue!
