I just got one of these brand new for free, Pifco rechargeable handheld vac , its truly pants and won't pick up even wood ashes. Don't anybody think about buying one

I just scored 2 henry hoovers going in the skip from a pub im working at. its only the hoses that are knacked . sound as sweet as a nut

Always pick em when I see them cheap and save em for a rainy day

Not today but yesterday picked this up for not much more than the Aldi/Lidl offering.

Is that a blade fusing machine bolted to the side ? If so you really have done well if it works , they are worth their weight in gold .

Don't rush to strip it if it does not work . Just clean the ALL the contacts with a spray contacts cleaner and some thin carboard in between the contacts & lube the pivot points with a drop of WD40 in a fine paint brush

We got one to take abroad for 5 weeks so we could clean up sand & dog hair .. it performs very , well gives about 20 min on full blast , recharge about 40 min . So good our 17 & 1/2 yr old daughter even uses it to clean her bedroom leaving the Dyson animal in the cupboard .

Vfd will power the motor only hopefully 240v for the sake of costs but motor dependant.

Everything else will be designed to run from 3p 440v
Rotary converter might be a better option. Sure someone with more knowledge than me will be along shortly.

Yesterday (should’ve posted last night but I fell asleep!!!) I acquired this barn to convert into a workshop.

I am not having the unit with the sectional door, just the 4 bay open bays with the intention of fitting 3 shutter doors and blocking one up so I can install a personnel door and window.

There is no power in there currently but the landlord will be fitting a consumer units, LED lighting and various sockets after Christmas. All being well I should be in there for Feb/March 2020!

When I worked for myself last time I had a place just a third of this size but the price is the same so I am over the moon to have such a space to build on my current business. Plans are to fit a mezzanine behind the blocked up opening and build an office on it (hence the window), build a bloody big and heavy welding bench for one bay an overhead crane in one bay and a fully open bay to do what ever I need in. I intend on doing my Class 2 licence next year and getting a rigid beaver tail so it’s good to know I’ll have indoor parking too.

A mojor plus is that it is about 1 mile from my house!!!

I am currently renting space off a customer as I keep getting rained off when welding onsite but I can’t wait until I get the chance to call it my own!!
