Trip to the garage today. No codes. No issues.
Suspect egr related for black smoke under heavy load.
Going in in a few weeks.

Managed to track down the center light for my rear lightbar and that's now on order.

Now I need to track down replacement reflectors for these.

Can't see Aplant hire shipping these from aus though. Wonder if there sold under another name here.

I would be looking towards LEDs rather than halogens nowadays

Funny you say that. Gave up looking and ordered up 2 led spots earlier.
Gonna Chuck some led side markers on too.

Pleased I found the parts for the light bar though. 200 quid to replace the lot. 40 quid for the missing bit.

Thats them.......we were in the S of France (Ramatuelle Beach nr St Tropez) and a yellow van was parked up....when they git back it was black...inside and out

Fingers crossed this battery still lives.

The fact the smart charger is actually charging it bodes well. 120ah leisure battery that's been in the garage for some time now.

Will keep my eyes on it this evening.
Found my 16amp hookup/distribution board too so might as well wire myself up for power again.

Reversing lights i would go with 2 high up and two low down makes a surprising big difference ask me how i know i would use driving lamps up top if they do them of fogs low down

Another issue found.
Number plate lights. Bulbs turned up today .
Swapped em. No lights.
Grabbed a meter. Power to the plates on the body. Look to the door connectors. No pins.

Any reason I can't turn a set from some scrap brass bar I've got laying around?
No copper unfortunately.

Have pins from the other door to copy.

Also need to pull the loom out from the cab fuseboard.
Noticed a couple of dim lights on the dash this morning that weren't there previously.

Pulled the reverse switch just in case but no effect.

Wonder if something's been jogged while the codes were read yesterday.

Got it charged overnight.
Disconnected before work and still showing 12.82v
Left it to recond last night then disconnected again this morning.
Still showing 12.82.

It's colour indicator doesn't show replace but still shows charge though.

It's been moved from shed to garage to lockup for the last 5 years. If it's shot I can't complain.

Il wire up a load tomorrow and see what happens.

Only gonna run led lights and a USB charger so might get away with it.

All the filters turned up today. Old one looks a bit manky.
when I cleaned out the airbox the cloth came away covered in blue oily substance.

Replaced the non existent cabin filter too.

Fuel and oil will have to wait for the weekend.

You let people who don't own them look after them. This is an air filter on one of my hedge cutters when 'maintained' by an employee.

Put a torch inside it. No light was escaping.
Made a huge improvement.

So do I, oil filters & fuel filters as well. Cam belts I write on the inside of the bonnet with a chinagraph pencil if I can, then you know exactly where you are.

Not that I can see.
This sits under a cover just behind the rad.

It's on my list of things to check.
