Today, I managed to tidy up more of the hubby’s toolboxes.

I found a couple of iffy lathe tools, several large drills (two with morse tapers, and the third still stuck in the quill). I also found a very old and scabby drawbar ratchet, which will do for my mill.

I also now officially have over 100 spanners in a toolbox, but I can now use my welding table again, now that the boxes of stuff now have homes.

The hut is almost tidy.

I think I l’ve already got a set of the Sykes Pickavant spoons so they might be up for grabs but I need to check through my gear and see what’s doubled.

I'll try when I have a bit more time and energy.

Tried it today on a wheel nut [neighbour's car] which was set at 110Nm using a torque wrench. It failed, despite trying both fully charged batteries to loosen it, so I've asked for a return on this basis. My needs would exceed that figure - 120Nm is the tightening setting for the BMW.

Oh well, seemed like a good idea at the time.

A leblonde tool room gearhead engine lathe. Steady and taper turning.

Managed to uncover it to get a proper look. Cant wait to get this home.
