Problem is,you don’t know how second hand discs have been stored. For all you know they could have been lying in direct sunlight all their life. My body parts, and those around me a worth a lot more than a cheap, out of date disc. Nanny state that we live in, if ,God forbid, something did happen,I guarantee your insurance company would try and weasel their way out of any payment. IMHO, just not worth it...

How can one be sure that anything you buy nowadays is fit for purpose, or how many years if its "possibly" new old stock, it has been stored ?
Price doesn't always indicate a bad deal, but improper use of a tool by an operator can result in damage to the consumable or injury to the user.
Are there sell or use by dates indicated on consumables sold here in the UK ?

All that I read in McAlpines post is "Under £1 each!", nothing about secondhand, or am I missing something ?

Accompanied by a punch set and popper studs for repairing bike jackets.
Accompanied by an AFR gauge set (inc LSU 4.9) made by 14point7 for the bikes, setting up of.

Nah, 'tis but a cheap Indian copy that keeps an edge as sharp as butter.
Apart from that, it's quite nice to use and very handy.
