The flip side is, if you don't go with er indoors to spy all the tasty morsels your just fed rubbish.

Anyone remember I wanted to build a squat rack from Kee clamps a few months ago...
My cousin lent me all his old gear instead. Theres more plates and bars than I'll ever need and a power rack not made from scaffolding.

Oh , she buys nice , she was a caterer and can cook well. My ' cooking is crap, I know, just stir fries so I' m lucky.
I just have zero interest in cooking. Support our local butcher too , Aldi for bits ; she doesn't like Lidl for some reason.

Lots of things really, removing gurt hydraulic/tractor/truck/machine filters that have to be removed/refitted to access other components, riding on v belts, turning ribbed pulleys and flywheels. What I like about it is it doesn't slip squash or damage things to grip or turn them, the leather really does bite and once tensioned you don't need to hold it with two hands to maintain the grip. . Not cheap but if you ever get the chance to try one you will probably want one.

Interesting. I'll have to have a look into that. I've only used chain wrenches in heavier applications, but they do have a tendency to chew stuff up and they only grip when the teeth bite into the something. Could be very useful in that the strap grips too.
Will have a look at the strap wrenches like yours. I like Elora stuff, have a lot of their spanners.

It can do, yes. However that one was already trashed, so it didn't mstter.
(Dual mass, worn to hell, it had rotated too far, so the bolts were covered by the webs between the bolt holes. Instead of cutting the centre out, lock it via the ring gear and rotate the back half with the chain wrench to undo the bolts. It is not needed to fit a new flywheel.)

I've only got a month to play with it before I go back to uni unfortunately, maybe I could take it up on the train, a two mile farmers walk home from the station would be interesting.
