Standard cleaning today - I gave the chucks a brush down in the past but not a proper clean. Surface rust comes off very easily, good metal under there.
My S0 tool post cleaned up beautifully too. Once I’d removed the dried factory grease, it started to function better too! The 3/8bsw rod on the taper holder was bent sadly, I’ll probably just get a bolt and cut off the head to replace this.
The compound slide and dial are new old stock, the nut is a newly made part, the toolpost is brand new - only the screw and handle are original
