Those old straight shaft cutters were bulletproof. They will easily start the following season as long as fuel on the carb screen hasn't gummed up, so I always would run them until they were dry.
Saw one of these, a pink one, in the back of a small utility trailer with some other trash. Next time I pass by it I'll take a photo and
post it for those out there with a vacuum cleaner fetish.

.....my van back from repair today after (failing...) it’s MOT last Friday.
Broken front spring, badly worn steering arms, and quite a few other things to the tune of £460. Ouch

My OH, bless her, walked down to the garage and collected the van this morning, just in time for me to get away to St Abbs tomorrow for a weekend of scuba diving

Wreck diving ?
No idea until we leave the harbour, and not unduly bothered, just happy to be getting in the water.
Had to cancel a long awaited weekend around Kyle of Lochalsh and Loch Carron last month due to a dodgy tooth, so really looking forward to this weekend. Also having a serious trip up to Kinlochbervie for a week’s diving in July.

Plastic or alloy? Either way it should do the job without the numbers etc wearing off, for all the use it'll probably be subjected to.
