I been given an old kids trampoline frame and I thought it would be good parctice to cut up and weld some tube.
It's galvanised and I know welding it will give off fumes.
As I understand it, removing the coating is good enough to make it safe. So ...
How far from the weld is the minimum to clean back to bare metal?
Is it necessary to clean the inside of the tubing? (I assume it is.)
Is a wire brush (grinder or drill) sufficicient?
