I have the number 3 jaw from a P&B self centering three jaw chuck spare, found it submerged in the depths of my suds tank when I bought the lathe.

I bought a 'box of contents' at an auction which contained 4 M16 feet like yours. Paid for the box but when I collected it there were only 3 feet in it. There were other boxes beside it & some tea leaf must have slipped it into their box. Complained to the auctioneer but their policy is 'look after it as you buy it'. I think I paid less than £10 for the box so they were cheap but 4 feet are much more useful than 3!

Do you any idea of dimensions, Robin? I've a set of jaws for a largish chuck.

It was shelved and forgotten about in the summer.

some things that are to with threads, one of my old boy customers popped them in passing, he has had them in the barn for years, dont know yet if there any use will give them a soak in red for a day or so, only cost me a bit of time chatting a coffee and a couple chocolate digestives. dont you just love life.

Today I acquired a Binzel PP 401 torch, motor has been tested and it seems fine so all I need to do now fit a pot in the handle is make up a mobile cooler and see how it performs.

Got these today as i am working with ear defenders on and i need some music to to make the day go faster, Anker soundcore headphones that last 10 hours and the case charges them from its own battery, for £40 i am very happy.

Keep meaning to buy some ear defenders with speakers. Really struggle with in ear or I'd buy a set too.

I had some nice ear defenders with speakers but after a few months they died and even when working they had to be near the phone to work well, these have a few adaptors to give you a chance of a better fit, as my ears have been whacked a few times and normally the in ear heads fall out i was happy with these staying in even if i shake my head.

I have bean after one of theses for a while. But after Dr. Who and the episode "The Beast Below" the price went through the roof and decent ones became hard to find. Then there was trend to "Up-cycle" them and putting in electric lights.

Less than a month ago I threw about twenty of them in the scrap , had no idea they were worth anything . There may still be a few kicking about.

A delivery from @jordhandson
Spotted it in a what's this tool thread and thought it would be perfect for my lathe.
He very kindly mailed it off to me this week and it arrived today.

5 position stop for a t slide.
Just so happens my lathe has a slide for the auto feed stops to cut drive.

Quick test fit. So close. Needs 1.5 ish mm milled off.
The upwards facing bolts clear the saddle and the horizontal contacts the apron well. Il pop a brass plate at that point later.
Very nearly made to measure. Il paint to match after milling.

Bit of history. In Bradford On Avon there was a small tool and fixings suppliers. But sadly they have closed down. Recently at a local auction house their "New Old Stock" have been turning up. I think the ex owners are selling remains of the stock off. I can only guess, but I have seen their old logo on some old auction lots.

This is what I was successful on.



I think there is about 200 to 400 items per bag.

I also uncovered this in a box of bits in a charity shop.
