It's a cost/benefit analysis where I have to weigh up getting things done verses another project on my every expanding list.

I also don't think I could make them for £15 or less when you factor in the time required.

Some bits from a demo job.

British made mastic gun, bolsters, a tiny claw hammer amoungst other things and a brand new in packaging level, it looks like it's for drainage as it's got two bubbles for different gradients!

There was something going on with the frame, the bar across the front was bent about 4 inches from where it should be so when on the stand it wouldnt move enough to ge the mix out, so I've swapped the motors and gearbox over onto the other one and put the drum with the broken paddle on the 'to be mended' pile and the bent frame is on the scrap pile.

They are massive. My Woden 190/8 has 5.25” jaws and weighs 30kg, and is still dwarfed by the 25! This was at uni when I’d just finished sandblasting and brushing it, got no time for doing it by hand

(now I’ve left uni I miss that blasting cabinet!)

nice vice I have one similar same size . it has quick release very handy . I have a 6inch record one brand new as well but don't see any point in changing it as the jaws aren't hardly worn

got a vice now thats got a quick release got offered a bit bigger one but did not want it as its not got one the one i gots already more than i need but get a bigger vice with the release i might want it :whistle:

Not so much 'acquired', as received. A full discharge from the hospital Ophthalmology Consultant, doesn't need to see me again. Plus, I can discontinue the drops I've been putting in my 'compromised' eye for years.

Happy days! :thumbup:

Going to pour a small Jura to celebrate :drunk:

some things that are to with threads, one of my old boy customers popped them in passing, he has had them in the barn for years, dont know yet if there any use will give them a soak in red for a day or so, only cost me a bit of time chatting a coffee and a couple chocolate digestives. dont you just love life.

Bought this lamp about a year ago from @MCKDAVID who kindly sent it to my cousin in Hampshire. Well today it finally came, goodness me it’s rusty! These lovolites are such good quality though. Will be perfect for the Bantam, cheers mate
