It's a cost/benefit analysis where I have to weigh up getting things done verses another project on my every expanding list.
I also don't think I could make them for £15 or less when you factor in the time required.
There was something going on with the frame, the bar across the front was bent about 4 inches from where it should be so when on the stand it wouldnt move enough to ge the mix out, so I've swapped the motors and gearbox over onto the other one and put the drum with the broken paddle on the 'to be mended' pile and the bent frame is on the scrap pile.Yeah, I know the principle, it's just that this one seems to weigh a lot more than the other one. I suspect there is something going on with the frame as it has little to no ground clearance when trying to wheel it about, and it sits back quite a lot. Will be giving it a good looking at before hoying it up on the stand.
Much better quality vice too.
nice vice I have one similar same size . it has quick release very handy . I have a 6inch record one brand new as well but don't see any point in changing it as the jaws aren't hardly worn
Not so much 'acquired', as received. A full discharge from the hospital Ophthalmology Consultant, doesn't need to see me again. Plus, I can discontinue the drops I've been putting in my 'compromised' eye for years.
Happy days!Going to pour a small Jura to celebrate
