Needs a good clean and derust in places. Either repair or replace the fence and sort out something to brace the blade under the table.

Looks like it should be a nice little saw the Axminister kit is a good quality part and you could not make the parts for the price they charge, a nice little kit that saves time and can be modified to work with most bandsaws.

Today I gathered up my passport and emergency provisions and headed over the border into Chepstow. Quite a few charity shops, which Mrs. GT enjoyed ferreting around in, but only 1 emporium which yielded some of my ‘toys’.

A set of Elora ‘Nutmaster’ ring spanners; 7/8 - 13/16, 25/32 (?) - 3/4, 11/16 - 5/8 & 9/16 - 1/2. Not sure if there was a 7/16 - 3/8 missing, but at £5 I wasn’t complaining!

25/32 must have fitted something in the past, a socket set I bought many years ago had them in 16ths all apart from one 25/32. No idea why.

25/32 was a size used on British motorcycle Head stock nuts. Was phased out in favour of 3/4.

Yup. Probably going to do just that. Saves me stripping and cleaning the top roller assembly too. Hopefully can use some of the old bits to mount the axminster stuff.

Looking forward to making some bandsaw boxes for the wife to burn some designs into.
Some really clever designs about for bandsaw boxes. Been years since I made one.

I deal regularly with an online company who send me small items. Included in every box so far for the last couple of years has been a small bag of haribo sweeties, which I do like!
The last one was so nice I used some of them to make a 'sandwich!'

Nick there are a few nutmasters in a draw of oddments, there is a 7/16x3/8 amongst them. If you want it to complete the set PM me an address.

Nice tooling stash, had to drive down to Sussex to collect. Worked out good as I’m vanless at present and my other vehicles are motorcycle s. Customer needed urgent job and use of their van was part of my blackmail to do it!
Dividing head is mounted for surface grinder work and is fitted with a griptru chuck. Also came with two tooling racks and about 10lb of carbide end mills

This weeks was a pain in the, ask no questions.

Working away, back home, away, but today I was under hundred miles from home. So local.
The site I was has closed down and I was removing our equipment.

But I was allowed to "Liberate" some bits.



George 111 Horse feed rack. The food was dropped down from the top.

This was the best one, as it was still in situ. The other 4 were in the skip and damaged. To badly damaged to be saved.





Pallet truck. It does work, but stiff to move.

I have asked a friend if he wants it, watch this space.



Sorry about he poor image, but a 1910/ 1920 fire place. Half way through me "acquiring" it I was asked to stop. The man in charge of the site strip out had laid a claim. His gain, my loss.




I think I got a "Stow away". This panda was found by the skips, looking sad. She is now cleaned and dried.
