One of the fitters is retiring and was sorting out stuff he didn't want, I was hoping it would be big enough for my 1" BSP tap, but not quite
Maybe a rub of a file might sort that out ? Any other plunder, make sure and show us.

A new scroll saw...
Many Thanks to @Arclikeharrypotter for collecting it on his way through and @MattF for a smooth collection.
Popped up to collect from Tom this morning and managed to grab an hour this afternoon to fiddle.
Il take the pulley to the lock up with me later and see if I have a motor that will fit both the pulley and the mounting patterns.
Eventually il make a angle plate so I can mount the little flange mounted 3p and vfd I have kicking around unused on it.
Much prefer the sprung piston over the moving arm they all seem to be now.
As all the blade mounts are removable should be an easy task to make mounts for die files too.

Some 3" wheels arrived today for the cast iron flypress stand. I would have preferred steel wheels, but these should do so I can roll it into our temporary storage unit.

Pleasing ain’t it, pushing something super heavy along on wheels that used to be a pig to move! Did the same on my power hacksaw but I went with locking castors.

These are only temporary, but yeah it does make life so much easier. I have most machinery on wheels, but the stand will need to be bolted down due to the torqueing effect by the flypress, which can be substantial when some mussel is applied to the swing arm.

Mike would it be worth anchoring your fly press like this if you put it on wheels ?
Put the stand on 100 mm hard nylon locking castors in a removable frame with a removable front and close the open front of the frame to keep it in place . That way if you ever need to move it you just open the front of the frame ,undo the rest of the frame securing bolts , move it out the way and wheel the press away . It's a good investment for when you get older or move properties .

Thanks for the angle iron frame idea, I like it, but plans are for installing a bridge crane set up in the new garage for moving anything heavy. The only machine I want to have on wheels is my small surface grinder, so that it can be rolled outside the garage. They are filthy things which spread grit and dust everywhere you don't want it to go. Already being older and retired, my Wife & I are currently in the process of remodeling what we intend to be our last property, so I don't think we will be moving again.

Hole patterns dont match so il bolt on new mounts and il have to sleave the shaft but should work.

Got a new SD card for my old camera, so hopefully it will provide some better images to post. Also got a syringe of epoxy to try a repair on my neighbours cement mixer motor. He lent me the Bell mixer which appeared in great shape as I know he takes good care of things. After about a dozen half load mixes the the barrel wouldn't turn, so I figured the belt needed attending to. Nope, couldn't believe it, the pulley was spinning on the shaft; a PLASTIC SHAFT; what garbage. 
Yeah, BELL CEMENT MIXER, supposed to be a quality machine; potential buyers beware.
Anyway, after the epoxy dries I'm going to drill through the steel pulley and fit a roll pin to hopefully keep it running for awhile.

A pleasant day out, trip to seaside, a few shops with good company.
Our place were we had traditional fish and chips.
The sound of the beech pebbles being washed was very relaxing.
Some good shops in the town. including a antique centre. Well, we had to go in.

If you wish to rehome the Jig I have two here and another would be welcomed.
When I get around to it il be machining long bars so I can dowel larger panels in one hit.

I got this to replace the one I had.
I have bean using a Lash up jig, now I have a tool I can use.
When I make my casting box's I want to use dowels to locate the coupe and drag. The box's are made to be flat packed.
