You need near perfect surfaces/conditions for that to work.

I always use a good quality sealant, warmed if necessary in a bucket of warm water and I have a selection of nozzles with different sized apertures that I swap between to give different sized beads.
A steady hand, maintain the angle of the gun relative to the joint, feed enough caulk to fill the joint but not overflow past the nozzle and you should get a good enough bead not to have to touch it.

I am on my way with a 7.5 lorry.

I acquired/rescued four of these 25 ton bow shackles from the scrap bin today, dozens of them all new but thrown away because there is no paper work to go with them. They will do for grunting out machines stuck up to their nuts

Be careful with those. A while back there was a lot of these imported from China, of course they were made of chinesium and failed when trying to pull the skin off a rice pudding

Here's the new saw out of the box!

Looks very well made!
I've done a few cuts with it and it needs a fettle as it's off by a degree or so, the laser needed a tweek but now seems bang on.
