Anyone no where I can get an mt2 headstock spindle centre from.

If it's a centre then the usual suspects rdg tools or chronos. If it's a spook ndle for what lathe?

more than likely u wouldn't need a rotating one in the head stock mainly used for turning between centres using a dog and catchplate

I thought as much but was not sure because he was asking where to get one from. Mt2 Dead centres are common as muck. I’ve got at least 3. That’s why I asked.

Ooooh common mistake to make.

A solid centre set in the spindle is a live centre. In the tailstock it doesn't turn so it's a dead centre. The ones you fit in the tailstock that turn on bearings - those are revolving centres.

u did say in your post it is 2mt what u require is a reducer sleeve to a no 2 mt from whatever your headstock bore size is there all different

2MT is tiny.

MT7, now that's huge. Nearly 3-1/2" at the gauge line. MT2 is less than 3/4"

I DID put a l;ink in my earlier post no 10 for a no 2mt center pay attention .there no science in it look at post 11 as well
