Not today, but I aquired 40 metal plates yesterday. Something slipped in the cutting jig, so they were 3mm too narrow to make the light backplates I had a rush order for.
So they are on the shelf, while I cut out 40 to the right size, after the blue smoke had cleared

I expect they will come in handy....

Given this yesterday , I only really want the tank the motor is a 240v beast cant think of a use for it

Yes it is i got all the pipe work and valves too was heading for skip as were clearing my friends yard , everything going by the end of month

First of my Doncaster purchases and probably the best, that’s why it’s still in the house and hasn’t been moved to the workshop yet. I’ve been thinking of getting one of these so I can level up my machinery, but just hadn’t found the right one. This one just looked like it should be mine though, looks like new, the box will get some attention and a bit of polish.

i aways wanted one myself dreamed of pluging in and sorting tvs etc out
but realy the last time i used one was in school and in collage i prob could never remember how to use it or even know what to use it on theses days

Twas the other day but got this bootlace crimp tool and a couple of boxes of the crimps, have a few projects on the go that have these tiny circuit boards/connectors and these things are soooooooooooooooooooooooo much neater
They are like a revelation, I use them on everything. Started when I was doing audio and trying to cram 50mm cables into fuse holders and distro blocks. Now it’s ferrules and heatshrink

Yes use them on everything now from tiny signal wires in the CNC retrofits to 6mm2 extension leads, great things and refills are fairly cheap on eBay.
