Lt95, but I changed the high ratio on the transfer box to whatever the highest off the shelf are (did it years back, can't recall the details)
I also had a overdrive which got stolen (dull story) but I've recently acquired a replacement, so I'll fit that in time.
It's drivable to as quick as you would want to go now (ie 70 is quite possible) but the overdrive will be good for motorway.
The 2.8 is just a 300tdi clone really. I think m&d even rebuild 300s now to 2.8spec and for the variable vane turbo - but for a shocking price.
Their list price on the 2.8 was something like £7850 ex vat before they stopped selling them though!
