Once the other two are sold that money is then spent on more machines and when quizzed you have another goojfc

It's all well and good buying and horsding but if you don't actually have room to move and work in your workshop there pointless anyway.
Rather have a mill and a saw than 3 saws.

Still have two, just a different second one. Must admit though, you have a fair point. Have been considering letting the Minor go, (it's blocking my drawers), and just concentrating on the big one.

Space is just as valuable as machines when you havent got much.

In the process of renting a container. Will free up a 2.4x4.8m shed so I can get all the non essentials out of my garage.

Then its time to shop for more tools.

Quite enjoy a good clear out. Could do with a skip on the drive again. Most of my hordings are wood and building materials. Handy raiding the shed for odds and sods and keeps my material costsdown but need to skip the junk from time to time.

I got plenty of room. 200 ft of garden. Putting a temporary add on to the shed. May be this year or next I build new workshop.24ft x 24ft.
It is getting tight in my place but still got room for more.

That's true. I have a list of machinery that I work my way through when funds allow. Still got a few more items to go. Should have enough space to work comfortably .But I sure there be a few other bits. Missed out on a couple of items recently and i found it very anoying .

My workshop part of my shed is 20x20. ( plus 10x20 clean storage in theory) Though big enough for my needs the layout can make all the difference. Knowing what I know now. This is my first bespoke shed the rest have all been attached garages, I wish Id planned the layout of gear before I built the dream shed.

Doors would have been different, so would socket locations.

Another strange factor I have learnt. No matter how large the bench is, it always seems cluttered. Still cant complain I dont need to hide tool purchases from my Mrs. She activly encourages such things, so she can buy an extra pet in return.

Well she has not sussed nothing out yet. Or not to my knowledge .But she will need to just deal with it because I got my eyes on one of these. Been after one for ages. Named the camel back drill. Made by many a manufacturer .denbigh. canedy otto and a few others .this one in the picture below is a denbigh 24. They come up for sale every so often. Am watching a couple on the bay at the moment .

Oh you poor delusional person, when will you just accept you will never have any free space, you'll always be moving stuff to make enough space to work....

For years I dreamt of having a big garage/workshop that would be a pleasure to go into to work as everything would have a place to live and everything would be organised, sadly real life keeps getting in the way and although I now have a big garage, I still don't have the time to tidy it between moving enough stuff around to make it possible to get the current job done.

That's as much down to poor packaging as rough handling during delivery. Packer and courier both to blame, hopefully you will be fully refunded and get to keep the drill.
