Also, had a look at your art - interesting stuff. Have you read the Mortal Engines series? They're for teenagers but they're a good read. Peter Jackson is making a film for the first novel

Ha ha funny you should say that, I was using a Halfords key set the last day on some stainless buttons I had just got from Screwfix, they were really slack and I thought these Halfords keys are rubbish so went and got the Unbrako one, it was loose as well. Couldn't believe how sloppy they were. Even thought they may be Imperial (well you never know with the Chinese stuff) but no, Imperial key wouldn't fit or was even slacker. Should have taken them back but it was a rush job and the boat needed down the slip. Sad thing is it will probably come back to haunt me in a year or two when I have to try and dismantle them, will probably have to chap some Torx keys in to get them out![]()
When I was an apprentice the only allen keys we were supplied with were unbrako good gear but something in the back of my mind thinks they were actually called umbrako, could be wrong, 50 odd years since, never the less very good gear then. There was me thinking it was my Halfords hex keys
Edit: Thank you, jogged my memory about the two boxes of Unbrako keys my father stashed away from my grubby teenage paws![]()
I've got one that's had more than a few licks taken out, it's square now and fits my 4 jaw.Or my favourite, 'that' allen key that has a few licks from the bench grinder to fit one specific set of bolts!
