A Myford produced Drummond M type. Has a Myford style bench countershaft unit. The type where you can release belt tension for changing speeds, without stopping the motor. Dewhurst reversing switch, 3 & 4 jaw chucks, faceplate and catchplate, and various bits & bobs, including a couple of chucks and a live centre. It came with an old beast of a 0.5hp motor too. 940RPM, I believe.
That's a 24 tube silicone box next to it, so you can fair guess the size of it. This came with it too, (the round rod holder between the Norman toolpost and the chucks), and though it's familiar, I'll be damned if I can remember its specific purpose. It has a MT1 arbor on the rear.
I'm point blank refusing to do anything bar minor cleaning on this, for the time being. I will have a lathe up & running if it kills me.

It's a morakniv companion , formerly known as frosts. 13 quid and it's probably the sharpest, comfiest handling knife I've ever had straight out of the box. I generally find I have to set to sharpening even expensive knives, but I am now sporting a bald patch on my arm that this one did

I acquired two HP WiFi printers from a skip, tested them and both worked, sold one for a tenner, because obviously no one needs two printers, then after a couple of prints the other one died , now I am back to square one .

dont be tempted to wire brush the files to clean them...better going in an electrolysis bath
Aye. Most of them are pretty clean. Gonna have the tank going next week for lathe bits anyway so I'll chuck em in then. A few must have been n in the bottom of a tub. One of the tap handles is seized with rust. Its in an oil bath now then a trip in the tank too.dont be tempted to wire brush the files to clean them...better going in an electrolysis bath
