Over here a little old lady sent a letter to a minister dusted in talcum powder... Shut down the entire sorting office and called out the decontamination squad. Then again, I'm not sure these scanners are all they're cracked up to be. A few years ago I boarded a long distance jet to find a weird box in my top pocket when I sat down - it was a mini box of matches!

If you want to keep them just pull them apart with two pair of pliers and drop the bits in water for a week or so .
If your in the uk throw them in a river/pond quick .

or if your really stupid and do the right thing hand them in to police station where u will be promptly arrested interrogated accidentally fall down the cell steps even though there on the ground floor then let out on a caution if your lucky

Having a sort out in the tool box i acquired with my house, Found an old dissolvable tablet tube. Tipped it out and these fell out along with a lot of black little balls.

The larger one is empty, how can i dispose of the other two.

Pull them apart with pliers, empty out the powder and chuck a match on it, the powder will just burn quick with a lot of smoke then fill the cases with oil which will kill the primer caps.

We had a fitter come into the workshop with a complete 7.62 round, he clamped it in the vice and got a punch and hammer out of his toolbox, by which time we were all running away, he enjoyed the reaction as it was an inert round

I found some live rounds in my workshop, the police weren't interested so a friend of mine took them and fired them off at a shooting range. He said they hardly went "pop". let alone "bang".

a guy I know wanted rid of 200 bullets and gave them to me went shooting foxes and every one I used were duds must have been 6 foxes lucky nights the rest got chucked in river

Pull the head out, tip the powder out and burn it, then hold the case with some pliers and cook the primer off with a lighter. To be honest without being in a barrel the chances of the round actually gaining enough velocity if fired off whole to cause serious injury would be next to nothing

They are. I picked them up with a plan. When my little hand shaper arrives I'm debating modifying a couple to fit my T slots. Be perfect to hold down sheet and bar stock on the pillar drill. Leaves me a couple spare for other options on other machines.

A load of gauges, mostly for pressure with units meters of water (head) but a couple are thermometers (With the "probe" part on a long wire/bendy tube) and one has a temperature and a pressure scale but only one needle. Not sure what to do with them, might keep one or two for my compressor and put the rest on eBay.

Oops, forgot a scale mug, they're around a 3 inch face.

They'd look the part on the dash of an old car, or one someone's building [even as window-dressing ].

I know a marine engineer, in his workshop the whole inside gable wall is floor to ceiling with pressure gauges of all shapes and sizes, looks proper good it do!

I bought one of these brand new back in 1969. I had stuff stolen from my garage a few years later and this was the only thing they left behind. Still got it and in perfect working order. I might have the instructions somewhere if you want a copy.

If you get both saws running can I suggest you leave one set for cutting square & use the other one for your 45's.
