You can have any colour you wish, but it is not normal or recommended to have an exact match on the primer. You need a little difference in tint so that you can see what you are doing.

The term 2K just means that it is TWO component. It tells you nothing about its constituents. Epoxy primer is 2K but is Isocyanate free, therefore no more PPE required than to spray aerosol paints.

Let me know what quantities you need and I will give you a price. Primer is ideally ordered in 2L multiples with 1L of hardener and a bottle of 516 thinners. You can have it tinted to any colour you like.

Ah yes, I recall it’s 2k ACRYLIC which has the isocyanates whereas epoxy is much less harmful to health. That said I doubt any of them are particularly good for you without respiratory protection.

Out of interest, is there such a thing as a 2 part epoxy seam sealer? The brushable thick gooey stuff.

The only game in town is Johnstone's zinc phosphate primer. It goes down well on new metal, metal that was rusty but has been cleaned as best as is practicable and on to top of good paint work. I think it will go down on galvanised metal too, but not tried that. So, two coats of that followed by a top coat of Johnstone's Metal Cladding paint. A top class Paint System! I have two cars, average age ~20 years old, and that Ole MoT man, he's damned impressed when he sees them!

Is jotamastic a sensible paint for a trailer, new build steel? I'd like to have galvanised but quite expensive. What would be the recommended treatment, 2 pack primer then top coat?

Epoxy primer, then colour coats. Jotamastic is as good as any, although I wouldn't make it my first choice for bodywork.
