Greetings folks and blokes,
I've been practicing with my 220v gas/shield welder on some scrap sheet metal and getting very nice results. The bead is low, smooth looking with perfect penetration to the other side. Took a bit of fidling with amps and feed rate but dang they're looking mighty fine. I'm getting the perfect sound of bacon frying in the pan. I reckon I should invest in a digital camera so I can post a pic or two. The machine is a Chinese knockoff unit that cost very little but it seems to work very nicely.
