Yanmar clone L100, 186F diesels

I'm thinking about repowering my JLO 372 engined mighty-midget with on of those 186F clone diesels. Does anyone know where Phil Weeks gets his 680cc version from as I can't find them easily on the usual far eastern sites.

Asking because I'm wondering how suitable the standard 186F clone will be as a swap, power wise...

I replaced a Yanmar L100 with a few.

Generally ok, some issue re high pressure fuel pipe fracturing due to insurficiant support / vibration.
Expect about 1/2 the run hours compared to a L100 before needing substantial rebuild.
Seems to be a few variants which can cause issue with sourcing bits, like the fuel pipe I had lots genuine L100 ones but they were different.

Not seen the bigger CC ones sorry.

PS re suitability.

I doubt it as your JLO 372 is about 20bhp at 5000rpm & the clones are a claimed 10 bhp at 3000rpm ish.

Looks like the 192f is the one to go for, 499CC

I rebuilt a low hours clone, the bearing on the end of the cam had failed. Easy fix, and not surprising given the quality of chinese bearings.

A 195F also exists, but seems to be made by Bison only - that's 530cc and 11hp and there's also an 1100F. The numbers mean number of cylinders (1) and cylinder bore (86, 92, 100 etc)
