Sorry about that, the colour diagram was for a TZR125. I posted by mistake. When i looked at your post on my phone before, another couple of colour diagrams came up and now, when ive come to the computer to save them off, theyre not there.
Am i doing somthing wrong, or did you edit the post?
Thank you.
No ones mentioned antifreeze?
Stick it on ebay as is, they love a barn find on there!...Unused for 20plus years and it looks a wreck..Let someone else have the headache.

True, would be the best plan but I think Julian is attached to it.
.
So it's not a money choice really. In that it is an emotional decision. But more that I'm just stubborn, than because I love the thing!
I do understand but have literally been hanging onto a bike for 20 years (RG500).
It's why I suggest "find" a collector. Get onto one of the LC forums and let it go to someone you feel good about.
Well, I know you're stubborn, and you don't like selling vehicles... ;-)I'm mostly "attatched" to it out of irritation.
I have the 101fc that I should probably sell, but that I am more "attatched" to, whilst this one would just be an irritation to sell... A 20yr failure.
I don't have much attachment to it beyond that really. It's not like I snogged my teen girlfriend on it or any nonsense.
The value doesn't matter too much to me. I mean if it's a grand or whatever, it pales into insignificance compared with the bother of moving it about for 20 years. Even if it was £3k, would you move a bike about for 20 years for 3k? Of course you wouldn't.

Its ironic that you're not following your own advice! : )
I guess you're doing it as an investment when, again, I'm not bothered by the financials on this 125.
My 101 is certainly an appreciating asset, but that is not the reason I keep that. In truth I'm hoping that, when my daughter gets a bit older we will use it with her.
I don't have any such plans for the RD!
My nextdoor neighbour at work has an ultrasonic tank, but we're both a long way from Julianf!@julianthegypsy Nobody close to hand with an u/sonic cleaner who'd run the carb through for you?
Put it in the post to me if you want, I'll clean and rebuild it for a beer or two. Let me know by pm..What's an ultrasonic (that works - I know there are plenty of very cheap ones) going to cost me, and, more importantly, what do I buy?
Is there any other reliable method also?
I don't really want another device that I may never use again, so I'm also wondering if I wouldn't be better just to buy new jets than to buy a device to clean what I have?
Again, it's storage of the ultrasonic after I've used it that I'm trying to avoid.
Ah a 101FC, nice sensible usable classic , any pics of it?My 101 is certainly an appreciating asset, but that is not the reason I keep that. In truth I'm hoping that, when my daughter gets a bit older we will use it with her

Yes depending on the type it does break down and needs renewing every 4 to 5 years.Does antifreeze degrade over time, even if it's not getting hot? I would imagine even the salts that it degrades into (if it does degrade) would probably mess with the freezing point.
It's not like I kept topping it up for 20 years out of the tap.
