WTF someone using ebay instead of the bin

I agree with those who think this is a feedback building scam. Many people just see 100% positive feedback and don't look at the detail. Then if you wait a bit, you can't see exactly what items were sold ie. how the feedback was gained, which makes it easier to pull a scam.

I found some part of the internet once where people were trading eBay accounts.

An old, high feedback account is, I'm sure, worth real world money.

Remember that the actual items vanish from the history in time, but the score remains.

Seeing as he/she has built up over 1600 sales I think what they are doing is building up various 100% feedback buyer accounts, these could then be used to buy goods which 'mysteriously never arrive' and so the purchase price gets refunded?

That seems the most credible reason.

I can't think why someone would go to the trouble for buying accounts, I'd think they'll be doing it to get the feedback then sell with.

My eBay account has quite a few feedback as a buyer, nothing as a seller. But if I listed something most people would still see xxx 100% positive and many wouldn't look to see if it was made buying or selling, so it would have a value.

Looking at the second black cap it looks exactly the same as you get on 20litre plastic jerry can for storing RO water. If I lost the lid on one I would actually buy it. The 20 litre containers are not cheap to buy you see.
