WTB 1/2" drive angle head impact cordless impact.

I want to buy a 1/2" drive angle head cordless impact driver. Got a large number of bolts to spin off that I cannot get the regular impact gun onto and whilst I'm finding that many of them I can crack loose with a spanner and spin off with my fingers, a good enough number have to be spannered all the way off that it's costing too much time.

Choices seem to be limited using search engines so I'm looking for suggestions here, what to buy or avoid?

I'm afraid Pete only Milwaukee make one, they are also limited in punch. I haven't personally got one, but I do own the M12 long reach ratchet which is brilliant.

I’ve got the Milwaukee one.

It’s not the most powerful thing but it is what it is. It’s rated at more than a standard m12 bolt torque so is fine for me.

It’s used more as a nut runner to be honest. Especially if access is poor.

Big battery makes a difference

Cordless then? I think Makita do one so you've already got batteries (Iirc?), if not, Milwaukee and Snap On definitely do them.

I have the 3/8 one it is a very handy tool, I reckon rusty fasteners M10 is getting to its limit, but do use it to wind off M16 bolts, have to crack them first, but it is a real time saver.

On the cordless ratchet (non-impact) theme, if standard ratchets do not have enough torque, would a big right angle drill do to spin off already-cracked items?

Aye, but add in 2x genuine 6.0ah batteries from another seller and a genuine rapid charger from yet another seller it comes to £252.76 whereas Bigred do the whole lot from one place for £269 plus you get a bag and you don't have to worry about it being re-badged Chinese fake kit.
