[in Edinburgh] bought one between in a worse condition than this, since they had jointly rented a lockup distant from the house [I'll let you work out why - answers supplied if no-one can work it out by thinking like a teenager ]
. Probably weighed less not much more than me so an excellent power/weight ratio at that time. Added panels [although fiberglass weighs less than steel etc] would have affected this eventually, but it was fast even with a bog-standard engine & gearbox.], which was planned as a jointly owned/shared keeper/occasional driver/investment. I did see than one but although it was bodily complete inc decent trim, but it wasn't in any state to drive as they hadn't yet sourced all the essential mechanicals -engine was in bits but they had to get the g/box overhauled by a specialist involving a full stripdown, replace any parts deemed necessary. Diff was OK and the suspension etc they could do themselves like many of us on here. Something more or less like this

My plan, having studied the availability, dates & times of ferry sailings direct from Barcelona > Genoa, was to either a) invite him to accompany me on the trip at my expense, and once I'd checked the car over and paid for it drive it back to the UK 2) ask if he could take my golf gear back with him to home, as I was sure he was missing his wife by the end of the trip anyway. I've honestly know a couple so genuinely in love after more than 50 years together. Yes, they argue/disagree but although she more often than not wins [their secret which was the same intention we had when I was first married, but I think children brought subtle shifts which you don't necessarily spot at the outset ] is to never go to sleep on an unresolved disagreement, otherwise it can become a full-blown 'argument' which I believe can often end in shouting and even on occasion come to blows or worse

SBF ...….Steroids aren't the only meds to make you sleepless and turn your brain into a super neck top computer when you should be asleep. My morphine substitutes have done that to me.. it said in the symptoms " patients tend to become loquacious " .
Aye, I asked the Haematology Consultant if the particular ones I take [Dexamethasone] one lot of 10 tabs once per week on Fridays. His response? "Oh, yes, they'll do that". Fortunately for me, the "Kodak Bunny" result really only last through Saturday and I can catch up with sleep, even if it takes a couple of nights, at least I;m ready for the next dose - I even sort out which of the many outstanding and necessary jobs I can cover in that one day before I end up a bit like a puppet with the strings cut.....
So, much head scratching....then realised I had forgot to alter the setting from USB charging, to Picture Transfer Protocol, did that change and all good again...phew. On the phone I have to delve into the Developer Settings sub menu, seemed ofdd when they charges to GUI as part of their 'updates' , but once I posted the question on the owners' forum I got th answer straight way. Still seems it should have been be intuitive on that model [one of the first by One+, I think they now on at least 7 or 8 iteration, and still approx half the cost of the matching Apple iPhone. Only difference which I find is it's running Android no problem for me as Google cmes too.
