I've had my cebora for a few years now, and I've found it can be limiting in some situations. The torch lead isn't long enough, the wire feed can be jerky if the lead isn't perfectly straight, the torch is crap, and there are only 4 current settings. The earth lead and clamp is also crap and not long enough.
I do like the size and portability of the unit, which is the main thing that's making me keep it.
So should I upgrade this with a euro torch, new wire feed, and earth lead/clamp... or go with something more modern like an inverter mig?
I like to spend money wisely, however I don't like spending money twice, so if upgrading only offers a marginal increase in performance and usability, then I'd rather just buy a new welder.
I mainly do car bodywork and up to around 3mm, and don't require anything more than 6mm capability. Single phase obviously. Budget £500. Cheaper the better, but reliability is key. I don't mind 2nd hand either. @HughF feel free to jump in
Thanks!
