Work supply us Gryzko trousers and jackets, cheap and seem to last. They're a bit stiff until they've been washed a few times.


Some of the lads dont like them, so buy their own Strauss gear.

i still wear boilersuits but ive noticed that iam in the minority. i keep a couple of pairs in the van so if i get covered in oil or grease i change. and when ive finished a job i take them off so keeping the seats clean. i cannot see why they are not as popular as they used to be.

Same here , find they perfect for work can not worry about getting dirty lying down on floor for example as just take it off and back to clean for going home or into car

I have also seen them going out of fashion more like you say however perfect for me so will keep on using them

Bib and brace are the best thing going ever for winter work
I'm to tall for boiler suits I get castrated every time I bend over
And tops are never long enough leaving my lower back exposed to the cold
But bib and brace are just right
The keep you clean when carrying stuff against you they have a useful pocket for sweets easily accessible at the front
I don't usually bother with them come warmer weather but they are out as soon as it's cold or wet.
Have had both Engelbert Strauss and carhartt
Carhartt are better near welders or grinders
They really put up with sparks well
I've set several pairs of Engelbert ones alight but they era lighter if you want them year round

I had a rummage around ebay.de for Lidl bib and brace winter lined suits a couple of years ago.
They're sold over there fairly regularly and only appeared here about once, I think.

Sounds like a good reason to get some, don’t they call them dungarees though, sounds more stylish!

I liked their stuff as well and have quite a few items, annoying to know i cant replace them anymore
