the one in post#19Only a Henry with a big tin or is it turboed
That’s nice n cheap for what it is.
That is exactly what it is aimed at: it is the cheapest M-class (and thus CIS69-compliant) machine you can buy. It is built of thick tinfoil. I have used prophylactics with thicker rubber than the hose and more, er, storage capacity than the bag on the machine. Does not have a power take off for automated switching with the tool. Cable fails at joint with moulded-on plug (230v version). Hose too short for direct connection to tracksaw cutting 8' plywood (a 1.5m extension, covered with braided sleeving solves this and also stops the hose snagging on the track).
If it is for your own use and you will take care of it, it is very good. If it is to give to an employee, do not expect a long life from it.
Machine Mart sell bags for it way cheaper than the V-Tuf ones. The filter is very expensive, but washable, so only one spare needed. I open the end of the paper bag, stick shiny parcel tape in a couple of strategic places and then refold and use masking tape on top of the parcel tape to reseal. Means the bag can be emptied (frequently required) and reused.
they are monsters.... spares are expensive thoughThat's what I've got - numatic I picked up at an industrial auction (swinney kincaid) 5 or 6 years ago for £40.
Thankfully, I've not needed any to date. Even the bag has kept going - I just empty it into the bin every few weeks.they are monsters.... spares are expensive though
