yes, I had that problem with a couple, I cut the side of the aluminium in 2 spots about 120mm apart with tin snips and folded it down to make a little flap to let cables in/out
my perlins are concrete and rounded on the bottom, so I 3d printed myself some brackets to fit the curve of them with a flat spot on the bottom to fix the light up to
