workshop heating??

i am going to have a crack at making this waste oil heater for my workshop.
but by the time i get round to it, it will be freezing in my unit.

im thinking of a 9kw electric fan heater or a halogen type heater for the time being.

does anyone have any experiance with these heaters??

halogen heaters are not worth the money m8 used them last year ,, they are rubbish

any ideas on these heaters that heat one spot??
dont know what there called and have never used one.

thinking along them lines as i stand at a bench most of the day doing woodwork.
my unit is well insulated, but it has a roller shutter door that most of the heat escapes from.

i have a clarke 3kw space heater from machine mart,its ok,but at work we have infra red heaters for when the boiler is off ,think they are much better ,don't heat the air but make u feel warm ....not cheap though

I've found halogen heaters to be good, they're more for heating people rather than large spaces, you can get 1200w ones for about a tenner, perfect for by a workbench

if its a large space 2 big to heat get a quartz halogen heater . not the crap they sell in superstores that glows red and blinds u the halogen heats people and objects not the air there none intrusive and no glow from the emitters u get what u pay for

My business unit is freezing in the winter
I have a Machine Mart Space Heater (Red Devil I think) and it works very well.......... but.....
It runs off a gas bottle and can use quite a bit if used continously
My business unit is poorly insulated and 5 minutes after turning the heater off its cold again

condensation is the big downside with gas heating ,depends on what the space is used for

will look into quarts halogen jobbies and the infra red ones.

did have a gas space heater once, but as said the condensation aint good and nor is the amount of gas they use!
