was it ever cheap ?wot about oilits still cheap
You can say that again . I gave my workshop wood burner away as I was spending more time tending the B****y thing than being constructive. The good thing about log burners is they keep you warm twice....
I have one of them - it's panable, so I can point it where needed. as you say, instant heat. For me it would depend on the useage of the workshop. No point having underfloor if popping in there for an hour or two every now and again. I use heat lamps in my garage. Instant heat and I can have the door open if I want/need to.
Hi,
is anyone heating their workshop with gas or oil.?
When casting my floating floor I put in a coil of underfloor heating piping.
The idea was to use an immersion type heater in a tank to heat the water, but it really gobbelled the juice.
I am looking at a gas or oil heater for a boat/caravan, one of these tankless units.
Any suggestions .?
The idea is just to keep the slab luke warm, frost protection really.
