I've got source extraction for wood dust on all my machines, but I also have an Axminster air filter box. The source extraction isn't perfect, especially on the mitre saw, but it does capture most. I've got it dusted to a big chip extractor in the downstairs barn that cuts down on noise. I inserted a relay between the NVR switch and the motor so I can turn it on and off with my phone.
I also wear a powered air cap with filter, especially when using the big wadkin table saw, the face protection is handy if you get a kick back, plus you have filtered air.
I only use the air filter box if I'm going to be doing any finishing soon after machining. I usually just let it settle and get it later, much later when I clean the whole workshop.
I've got the old mechanical heat recovery ventilation unit from the house that I'm going to use for welding extraction, and generally to replace air in the workshop.
For angle grinding, I need to move that to the downstairs barn. I will still wear the powered air cap, but the dust won't be in the workshop.
