I feel sure that a lot of the projects discussed relate to working under cars etc.
I must have gone through about seven bulbs last night in a very short space of time while in the garage. Every other time I moved the lamp the bulb blew.
I have discussed this problem with a colleague and he experiences the same problem.
I don’t want to use the low energy ones due to the mercury inside when I accidentally break one. Are there any “ordinary” bulbs that you don’t have to treat like egg shells when you move them around? Its not the cost-it’s the inconvenience of crawling from under the car. I will happily pay more for quality.
I am now looking around to see what is available in terms of short fluorescent inspection lamps. What do you guys use that is better than I have described here?
