Hi;
I bought the mixing cups below and have just gone to use them to mix up some Jotun Jotamastic Epoxy Primer 87.
The Technical Data Sheet for Paint:Standard Activator mixing ratio is 6:1 however my cups have 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1.
I decided to pour in the paint to the first level 3 and then added activator 1/2 way to the corresponding level 1?? On the basis that by putting in 1/2 the activator I would achieve 6:1, was I correct or have I got it the wrong way around.
Against the ratios there is also a level for 10/20/30% Thinners, I was going to add 10%Thinners but did't bother.
If I were to have added 10% Thinners I guess the best way would have been to Measure the distance between the 1 and the 10% and mark a line above the adjusted 6:1 Ratio Line based on my adjusted calculations above?
