I was up at cranfield aerodrome today for lunch with a mate. Its always great to watch people learning to fly heli's up there you see so many near accidents!
I started my ATPL-H many years ago at Redhill but got rather diheartened after watching an R22 roll over. The lasting image is of a small child throwing a massive tantrum; legs and arms flailing about frantically until out of energy and then flopping down to cry. You've got to be brave to drive an egg-whisk.
PS. I recall this definition from the 1980's...
