My oil boiler has sprung a leak from the storage tank. this is what I found inside. 
As it's been regularly service by a heating 'engineer' I'm not particularly impressed, he has fitted extra seals one on top of another to 'cure' the leaks instead of cleaning the damaged seal faces up. it looks like it's been leaking for ages.

And after a quick hammer bashing
It's paper thin and full of holes.
Luckily the corrosion is localised to the top and a couple of inches down the side.
