If you remember the last thread I got it working , built some handlebars and a couple brackets then the welder broke itself and had to get sent off for repair, it’s come back and I can’t even lay a bead
I’m working with no gas flux core wire
Pretty thick so 3-4 mm steel
Polarity is right (red on black, black on red)
When I ground it then start welding, it pops, the wire retreats inside the tip and nothing gets layed down on the steel
So I pull off the tip, unscrew the brass part, pull the wire out, reassemble and the same thing happens
I’m using a wolf mig 140 at maximum power and 3/4 wire feed, but it still happens even when I adjust the wire feed and power
Really need help thanks a lot in advance
