saw a woman today parking in a tight spot. hmm i passed up on parking there as it was tight even in me small van in she went with 3 shunts she got out and i said im impressed to her.5 mins later she came back got in a backed out fast .yea and stuck her towball in to the car behind and left fast ohh well not so good after all

That will probably cost at least a couple of grand to fix, Knowing what they charge to replace the whole front skirt, My Touareg bump cost the other guys insurance £3500, And that was just to replace and spray the rear skirt with only a small ding on the tailgate,

I used to work in office that overlooked the main town car park. One morning I heard a massive crunch, looked out and a hired luton van had reversed right up the bonnet of a car, I watched the driver get out and inspect the damage and as he walked back to his cab I jotted down the reg but sure enough he tucked a piece of paper under the windscreen wiper.
Roll on to tea time and I watched a woman walk back to her car, she saw the damage, read the note and then burst into tears. As I walked over to my motorbike to go home I wandered over to check if everything was alright and she showed me the note, all it said was 'SORRY!'.
She was so relieved when I said I had the reg written down in the office as it was her dads car and his pride and joy, the hasp for the roller shutter on the van had cut through the length of the bonnet like a tin opener!
I ended up submitting a witness statement and she dropped in a load of beers to say thank you.

I was sitting in a cafe one morning having breakfast with my wife and was watching a MAW (middle aged woman) about to park her small hatchback in front of my car, it wasn't a big space but big enough, anyway I said to the missus I bet she hits my car trying to park there and yep she did. She got out ******** off to the shops and came back and left. The wife was going mad but I said she won't have damaged my car don't worry.
Another time queuing to get out of a tesco car park some old dear that was getting angry about it managed to hit my tow bar. I reminded her she was a sh#t driver and carried on.

I drive a very large 20 year old 4x4 Toyota Surf with heavy metal bumpers so no problem for me

The old Surf is probably less polluting than those VW' s as well!

Saw something similar in a car park once the note read something like "I'm only writing this so all the people watching think I'm doing the right thing and leaving my details. But I'm not"

I took down her reg and a couple of pics (always have a camera close) and waited for the chap to return. Gave him the reg and said I'd email the pics over

Turned out he was a J.P, never found out what happened to the women but got a hand written letter a week later in the post, thanking me for waiting and being so helpful

My daughter has a car with auto parking, amazing where it can park itself. All you have to do is select the appropriate gear. Problem is that sometimes you have to consider the space needed for the vehicles in front and behind getting out.
