I am just about the start learning to weld, basically im after something that can handle light car restoration e.g. the odd panel and plate nothing to major.

I know buy cheap buy twice but it really wont be getting alot of used so would something like this be ok to start out with?

. If you look lower down this page at the "similar threads" and read "Wolf Mig Welder" 3rd one down may answer some of you questions. Also note that when you say it won't get a lot of use, you will find word will get around that you can weld and odd jobs will spring up
... BTW I use a 25+ year old Clerk.
