Hello folks new here but been lurking around for a while getting information. been saving to get myself a welder. will be 90% for car panels and chassis up too around 4mm thick a lot of work will be outside. rest will be for odd jobs and fabrication of tools etc, im looking at these 3 welders and would like to hear anyone's story's that has had them. i like the look of the wolf 140 due to the cost and the fact it welds gas and gasless, but not sure how reliable a machine it is, and number one how well it welds off a 13 amp supply. the 135TE i know is a good welder and seen many vids of it being used on cars, and the power seems to be fine as it comes supplied with 13 amp plug etc but cost is a little higher and limited to gas (how much of a breeze would render it useless? as il be outside a lot) where as the 130en seems to be the best of all worlds works off a 13amp supply has gas and gasless option ( nowt worse than running out of gas and you only need a tiny bit to weld to call it done ) and i think like the 135 they are made in italy so should be a little more reliable and work from a 13amp supply. i have done welding at college whilst doing panel beating so got a good idea what i want but obviously a 3 phase monster aint goinna cut it on a extension cord to the house lol. i know a non live torch is something im after but what is the difference between a euro torch? seem to see more and more about these being mentioned, i plan on using 0.6mm wire and argon co2 mix as much as possible. thanks in advance for any input if you have experience of any of these 3 welders
