what type of wiring is best to use so that i can use a welder in my shed?

i have wiring coming from the fusebox and is thick grey colour 3 core and runs the length of the house. and that powers strip lights and normal sockets.

can a guard or protection cover be bought as it runs along the house wall.

use steel wire armor cable as this needs no guard and is UV stable unlike twin and earth (grey cable)
