Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
I see where you are going with that question and unfortunately I was unable to correct you in the previous thread. It is a specialist multi sleeve dust unit which recirculates air within a building. The air is not vented outside the building, there is no issue with pressure drop, the air is scrubbed clean and fed back into the environment. It can be installed inside or outside a workshop.
If you have a big enough workshop.
I for one am not desperate to find things wrong as that just something with the potential to harm someone in the future, yes the cable is high but it drops down, they do and will get damaged at some point it goes with the environment.I appreciate some people are desperate to find something "wrong" with this installation but "what if a meteor hits the roof" is taking things a bit too far.

Hell no, the installation will get signed off by his regular electrician after lockdown. I have considered the idea of becoming certified, mostly for the few odd jobs I do around the neighbourhood, installing a fridge, fixing a broken socket etc. but the tiny amount of work I do in that area would never pay the fees.
I need correcting do I ?
I suppose you gleened all your knowledge from google.
Bloody waste of time me spending all my adult life trying to professionally learn stuff. Its only my day job
Just hope you are adequately insured when stuff goes wrong (which I can tell you now its 100% wrong)
So Im not going to critiscise your work, but I will ask, why isnt his normal sparky doing this, will said sparky sign off someone elses work?
Yes you do. For example "This is a level of complicated that its evidently clear that you don't understand" clearly I do understand it and it transpires the control unit had been hacked to install a simple physical switch and left on permanently under the control of an hours timer unit. I had to unpick that to put it back to standard and then fit the appropriate control unit supplied by the manufacturer. No they are not called Google, they are Crompton Controls ltd.
"The timer is most probably for the shake down mechanism" Wrong. It was just a timer 9-5 whenever the factory is on, so is the extractor. Personally, I would question the safety of that sort of hack when the thing could just switch itself on but since I didn't fit it, I guess that's ok.
"Without these the system is pretty useless as the static pressure will build up something stupid" Totally wrong. It's a multi sleeve extractor and while I didn't know what one of those was until I recently installed one, I wouldn't pretend to know either unlike some people who think they know everything. That is why I asked in a public forum, so that I might educate myself.
"further evidence that you shouldn’t be interfering with this. The size of the bins is determined by the expected loading and capacity of the system. Replacing with smaller bins will leave more dust on the filter bags. An ideal recipe for a primary explosion to occur, followed by a much bigger and more spectacular secondary explosion once the dust has been disturbed, not to mention the accompanying inferno"
Nice touch to bring fire and inferno into my thread. Your "evidence" is that I shouldn't be changing the size of the bins. That tells me two things. 1. You have no idea how these multi sleeve units work and 2. you jump to a conclusion that the bin size is being changed when all I suggest is he bought it because this type of system already has smaller bins.
"On a system this big, it will have tightly fitted metal bins, bags not allowed" Also incorrect. They are designed to use the large plastic bags as sown. You're just making this up...
You suppose wrong. I don't feel the need to wave my qualifications around, I stand by my achievements. I suppose you also sneer at people who read books?
Me 100% wrong? (see above). You have quite a record there.
Im not even going to waste my time reading your drivel
