Apologies i've drawn it wrong.That's a good shout, especially as the diagram shows them in series...
Edit - looking again, it's hard to see how that's going to work with 2 normally open switches in series...to get any output you'd need to push both at the same time?
That was my thoughts exactly and what I have come across in the past.I'd check the on machine stop button as well - typically a stop button would be nc, especially if in series. The exception is if its a non safety type stop going to a plc, but thats noth the case here. Certainly e stops are almost always nc configuration. Any push on either button would drop the voltage off, I'm not sure how it would work with either 2 no buttons or a mix of nc and no.
