Well, just got me an Esab minicompact 125 mig, old but should do for some of my needs, but wont weld properly just splashing, like it dont get proper power, well it was for free
Finally gave up fixing this welder, its the circuit boards that are faulty, and no chance of getting them replaced by Kemppi.I read somewhere a guy had a workaround on a Esab mig, to control the welding power without the boards. Anyone have an idea on how to do that on a Kemppi 3500 ?
It looks like there are two of the three large caps and one of the small caps, so you know the values of the missing ones. As to how they're connected, I don't know.
As Seadog said, you have two of one type of large capacitor and one of the other smaller ones still remaining, so you should be able to read the capacity and working voltage from those.
As for the wiring, it is a 3-phase machine, and so all three of one type and all three of the other type will be wired in a similar way. The cables are still present, there will be two sets, and the three pairs of wires in each set will come from similar locations. If you trace from those locations, you should be able to identify the correct pairs. To help you, here is a slightly better quality wiring diagram ( compared to the very faint one in post #16 of this old thread ) :
