hi everyone, i have an eutectics oil cooled welding set that is in continuous use in my workshop, i have been thinking about getting a mig set and was thinking would it be possible to attach a wire feeder unit onto my oil cooled unit? i presume that my oil cooled is producing AC output, has anyone tried this?

your oil cooled chould be DC or AC output or both but ether way mig welders use a lower output voltage than stick.
i would have thought that it would be easyer to just go and buy a mig. 2nd hand 3 phase machenes don't seem to fetch much when i was trying to sell my 300A transmig i was failing to give the thing away by the end ( was offerd more for a crap 130A singel phase mini mig
