well I have bitten the bullet and started the download on my windows 7 laptop if its any good will do the same the 8.1 laptop as well
no that's not the case, as there will be no new security updates for xp its a hackers paradise, they can find ways into xp and all your details and no one is going to stop them they have all the time in the world as long as people are using unsupported OSI'm still on XP with most of the bugs ironed out.....why fix it if it ain't broke and the thing about further windows platforms is ....hackers will be leaving older versions of windows alone and concentrating on the newer versions to hack.
ive just accepted the licence agreement and now ready to start the upgradeI've clicked the button too snooper, its at 80% so only a short while to go, hopefully its worthwhile.
did it default back to original? with no losses? also what where you running b4?I downloaded 10 and went through the whole set-up and it didn't work. What annoys me is it didn't give me a reason or tell me what the issue was so i could rectify it.
nooooo ive just set everything back up what does annoy me though is you cant right click and edit the url's in a favorite, fancy trying an uninstall snooper? Just to see if it actually does?

that why I tried on win 7 I have a restore disc if it went belly upIE is still there, albeit hidden in favour of "edge" (which imho is pooooo)
Somethings I like...other things annoy me...
like why have control panel AND settings...settings being a useless half thought out menu...
I'm swithering on whether to go back to 7 or not...:/
