Biscuit and glue a board up.£49.01 for a piece 2450 by 474 x 18. Nearly fell off my trolley! Only other (naff) options are MDF or floorboards, joined. I only wanted Pine board, not priceless Teak hand sanded by virgins.![]()

Timbers not cheap these day unfortunately.
Now Id be tempted to go for the block pine on the previous page if your going to paint it, as its marginally cheaper, and less likley to warp when the heating goes on or the sun comes out.

Sometimes you have to just do it or you spend hours trying to find a cheaper option, time that could be better spent.That WAS for pine board. Having explored the options, I have sent the van down to go and get it. Otherwise the room will never get sorted out!
